Austin Town Volunteer Registration

2007 Registration Form and Policies

Austin Town is being moved to a new location on property owned by the City of Angleton.  The new location is very well situated and will have on site parking.  Since the event will be held on city property, we have had to change our rules and regulations to suit. These rules changes primarily involve live ammunition and alcohol, which are not permitted on City Property.  In addition, we have also updated the fee schedule for vendors, reducing the commercial vendors fee and creating a new category for demonstrators with trade blankets.

If you would like to volunteer for Austin Town, please send an e-mail to office@bchm.org

Please include the following information in your e-mail.

• Name, address, phone, e-mail and contact information.
• Which days you will volunteer (Friday, Saturday or Sunday)
• What area you would like to volunteer in (demonstrator, Brazoria Militia, Texas Army, Performer, Character Interpretation, Children's Games, Butter Churning, School House, Mexican House).
• If you will be needing anything special (firewood, camping space, period tent space, costume, etc.)
• If you will be selling anything, are you a sutler ($35 commercial space fee) or just have a trade blanket ($10 trade blanket fee).

Vendors must agree to sell only material appropriate for 1832 Texas.
